Commercial Gas Engineer HVAC Property Maintenance – Kent

A market leading Property/Facilities Maintenance firm are looking for a Field based Commercial Heating Engineer to join their team covering the Kent and surrounding areas. Backed up by Service and Technical support teams you will cover a range of services including installations, warranty repairs, servicing and breakdowns across a range of Boiler and Plant Room systems.

A further breakdown of typical role responsibilties would show:-

• Diagnostics of varying commercial HVAC products
• Be a knowledge expert in commercial GAS / heating products and services
• Carry out in warranty and out of warranty repairs together with chargeable alternatives.
• Provide feedback from the field to the wider technical team/management
• Complete electronic reporting and necessary paperwork within required timeframes
• Use the business systems to support activities of job role and reporting
• Adhere to any health and safety policies when in the work environment
• Maintain your vehicle and stock in line with company requirements
• Contribute as part of a wider team to achieve department objectives and goals

What attributes will you have?

• Ability and experience as a service/repair engineer in a related HVAC discipline
• Professionalism and work ethic to match
• Strong diagnostic/breakdown skills and experience
• Relevant HVAC qualifications, DAH1, Unvented HW, WRAS advantageous
• Excellent heating system and hot/cold water system knowledge essential
• Ability to keep a van stock of parts in an efficient manner
• Happy working under your own initiative
• Ability to deal with difficult situations when on the client site
• The desire to learn new skills
