Our client is a well-established and successful Financial Advisory practice based in Coventry and due to continued growth and people development, are looking to take on a Sales Appointment Adviser to increase client lead conversions for the financial advice team there. 

Their practice offers wealth management, mortgages and protection products and services to its customers and are supported by a strong and dedicated team of technical administration support to ensure the best customer experience possible. 

Your role there will complement the existing team of advisers and help deliver on conversion of client enquiries into confirmed appointments. 

You will be working with the firms existing client base as well as new leads acquired through professional connections and other similar means.

Your development plan will see you gain professional qualifications toward possibly giving advice yourself in the future or another similar career route, this will be supported by ongoing coaching and development from the management team there. 

In addition to you will be data gathering, assisting with client liaison, supporting  product providers events, case input, assisting with reports, meeting arrangements and more. This is a varied and exciting development position and will suit someone keen to progress in a professional sales environment.

For this particular opportunity, previous experience of a similar role or evidence of a sales career objective will be sort, industry qualifications are not a requirement at outset but will be a requirement as your role progresses and so a willingness to study is a must. 

Sales Appointment Advisor duties and responsibilities would include:-

  1. Determining calling strategies from the client bank
  2. Calling/contacting clients to book appointments
  3. Calling on-going clients to book in their annual/biennial reviews
  4. Data analysis and data entry to support client strategies
  5. Involvement in marketing activities/events

Starting Salary is expected to commence around £27000 with the opportunity to earn commission on successful appointments booked and other agreed parameters from commencement. OTE is uncapped.

Opportunity to sit professional exams RO1 through to RO6 is provided, this includes salary increases on passing each exam
